An East London project dedicated to spreading Islam through worship, education and community service — upon the Qur'ān, the Sunnah and the understanding of the Salaf.

Our journey began in a brother's living room in East London. This brother, having returned from Yemen after studying in Dammaj, began teaching the Qur'ān and Islamic sciences to local brothers. The living room quickly became a centre of learning and faith.
We established Masjid Uthman in a small storage unit in Barking. Despite its humble capacity, Allāh blessed the space with immense barakah. Brothers memorised the Qur'ān, students travelled to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Egypt to study, and many embraced Islam through the clarity of the message.
We moved to a larger rented centre where a children's madrasah was established. Alhamdulillāh, children not only learned to recite the Qur'ān but also memorised it. Parents benefitted from support and guidance, strengthening family bonds in the community.
During COVID, our activities transitioned online through platforms like Telegram and YouTube. Allāh blessed this expansion, and our reach grew to over 35,000 subscribers worldwide.
Recognising the growing demand for a permanent community centre, we rebranded as Masjid As-Sahabah, inspired by the noble companions of the Prophet ﷺ. Their dedication to knowledge, worship, and community service remains our guiding example as we work towards establishing a permanent masjid for East London.

Accessible Islamic jurisprudence covering the essential rulings every Muslim needs — purification, prayer, fasting, zakāh and more — taught in a clear, simplified methodology based on the evidences.
We plan to provide regular madrasah classes — Qur'ān, Islamic studies, Arabic and character development — once we secure a permanent location, in shā' Allāh. Follow our Telegram for updates.
We regularly translate and disseminate material from reliable scholars upon the correct Manhaj — making authentic knowledge accessible to the English-speaking Muslim community.
Regular brothers and sisters gatherings and conferences featuring scholars and students of knowledge — a space for the community to come together upon goodness and brotherhood.
